Where We Started - Our Ever After Story

Every great story starts with a spark and ours began at home, in our kitchen, surrounded by wax, wicks and a whole lot of passion.

In 2024, we launched our very first small batch of handmade candles under the name Max & Alex Home. What began as a creative escape quickly grew into something much more meaningful. With our kitchen table transformed into a mini candle studio, we spent hours carefully hand-pouring, scent testing and wrapping each order ourselves, always imagining the joy our customers would feel unboxing their first candle.

We had no big team, no fancy warehouse, and no idea where this would take us - just the two of us, creating something we genuinely loved and believed in. The support we received from friends, family, and customers who stumbled upon our little shop online was overwhelming, and it gave us the motivation to keep going.

As we grew, we realised our vision had evolved and so did our brand. In 2025, we rebranded to Ever After Scent Co., a name inspired by our love for storytelling, nostalgia, and magical moments. Especially those found in the parks and resorts of Walt Disney World. While we don’t use any official branding, our scents are lovingly crafted to evoke the feeling of your favourite Disney resorts, places, and memories.

Today, we offer a range of quality hand-poured candles and long-lasting reed diffusers, each made in the UK using high-quality ingredients and thoughtfully designed to bring magic into your everyday. From fresh, citrusy blends to warm, comforting aromas, our home fragrances are inspired by real experiences, real places, and a deep love for the details.

We're still a small business, but we’ve come a long way since those early days and we’re always dreaming bigger. With every scent we create, every package we send and every collection we launch, our heart is still right where it began: at home, with you.
